Making for a load for a TV show, rather than watching a load!

This week I've been making three pairs of voile curtains for a new television show called 'The Offenders', by Stephen Merchant. I get a bit of film/tv work in from time to time. They were quite fruity, well two of them were... an electric blue pair and a bright cerise pair of net/voile curtains, but then also a lovely teal pair made with a more cotton like voile. I'm a big fan of Stephen Merchant so I will watch with relish when it airs and hopefully will also be able to spot my work! I'm now onto another pair of voiles (but far more tasteful!) as a pair of cafe curtains in cream. I'll be heading them with a false wave and they're going on to a lovely black iron pole. They'll look really smart.

Enquiries are still coming in despite the lockdown and I'm working adhering to all of the safety protocols. I managed a fitting on Monday which included two roman blinds and a soft pelmet which was in a gorgeous light teal with a subtle muted gold fleck in it. It looked really smart and went really well with the client's existing curtains, she was so pleased and therefore so was I!

Listening to: Robert Elms' show on BBC Radio London. (I'm a big fan of his!)
